Before you arrive.
Send us the basic information about your dog, including age, breed, health, medication, behaviour, feeding and any previous daycare or boarding experience. We will arrange an assessment time and explain what to bring.
At the assessment.
We meet you and your dog, talk through their routine and observe how they settle in the environment. We consider their comfort around people, activity, rest and other dogs. The process is calm and practical, not a test your dog can “fail”.
What the assessment helps us decide.
- Whether shared care is likely to suit your dog.
- Whether a private room may be a better option.
- How much social time, activity and rest is appropriate.
- What feeding, medication or health information we need before a stay.
After approval.
Once your dog is approved, you can complete registration and request dates. A booking is only confirmed after we have checked suitability, accommodation and availability.
Sometimes the answer is not yet.
If we think a dog needs more familiarisation or a different care arrangement, we will tell you honestly and explain why.
